Policy GNLP4016: East of Station Road, Lingwood
East of Station Road, Lingwood (approx. 1.19ha) is allocated for residential development. The site is likely to accommodate approximately 30 homes.
More homes may be accommodated, subject to an acceptable design and layout, as well as infrastructure constraints.
The development will be expected to address the following specific matters:
- Vehicular access to be taken from Station Road. The requirement to provide adequate visibility will likely result in the removal of frontage hedge and possibly trees.
- A Transport Statement will be required with the implementation of any agreed measures.
- A part time 20mph speed limit will be required in the vicinity of the school
- The footway at the site frontage to the school will need to be widened to a minimum of 2.0m.
