Jobcentre Plus & the GNLP Much of our partnership activity is focussed on progressing those on inactive benefits into sustainable employment. Jobcentre Plus is the key partner to this process, with it’s own focus on providing training and skills development to benefit claimants, as well as the information held on current vacancies and the skill demands within the conurbation. To ensure that all training and employment opportunities are well linked to the jobseeker - Jobcentre Plus sit on the Greater Nottingham Skills Board and it’s Executive Group, they are co-located in the Making the Connection Core Team and are playing a crucial role in the development of Nottingham’s City Strategy for Employment. |
