Overview of Organisation:  A committee of local residents has planned and obtained funding for a garden on a site in The Meadows.  Work commenced in the summer of 2003, involving residents and "Friends" of the Garden.  Construction work was largely finished in time for summer growing.  Currently (September 2004) the garden is reaping the benefits of a fruitful summer, and has sold much of its produce, and involved many schoolchildren in gardening activities.
