Area 8 Local Learning Partnership
The Area 8 Local Learning Partnership is now reduced in area. It is to be funded through Neighbourhood Renewal, which focuses on only 9 priority wards (Arboretum, Aspley, Basford, Bestwood, Bilborough, Bridge, Bulwell, Dales, St. Ann's). In future coverage across the City will focus on priority pockets, wherever the need is greatest, under the City Strategy and Making the Conenction, with a focus on skills and employability. This of course leaves scope still for engagement of adults in learning opportunities. Meanwhile Chrissie Wells continues to support The Meadows Local Learning Partnership. -See separate page. Meetings will be held at Meadows One Stop Shop on 11th July 2007 at 2 p.m. and on Tuesday 4th September at 2 p.m. Anyone is welcome - contact Chrissie. Making the Connection Please see attached the draft Outreach Plan, demonstrating all the issues around how the LLP participates in Making the Connection, for which the Local Learning Partnership plays an essential role.
